The Deep Authenticity Scale (DAS) – For Leaders
What does it mean to be Deeply Authentic? It’s sometimes difficult to know. But what most leaders know in their hearts, is that they are NOT being Deeply Authentic. The biggest confessions I get from most leaders are:
- I feel like a phoney, a fraud or an imposter, or
- I am exhausted every day from trying the be the leader that is expected of me, or
- I have no idea how to be a leader – there is no manual and no one to show me
- I love the work I do, but leading is a foreign concept to me
